Alisa Ip
B.A. in Psychology, M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, M.A. in Counselling, RCC
Alisa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (Qualifying) who provides therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating emotional, relational, and life challenges.
Before starting private practice, she worked in public mental health supporting children and families experiencing anxiety, emotional and behavioural challenges, and major life transitions. Her experience includes collaborating with schools, physicians, psychiatrists, and community agencies to provide meaningful and coordinated care.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Alisa offers culturally responsive support to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including Chinese-speaking communities.
Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, integrating evidence-based strategies while meeting each client where they are. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported in moving toward meaningful growth and change.
