You don’t have to figure it out alone

Most families arrive with a feeling rather than a diagnosis.
Pick whichever one lands — we’ll tell you where we’d start.

  • Where we’d start

Big feelings usually make sense once you can see what’s underneath them. We help your child put language to what’s happening — often through play rather than talk — and give you a few things to try at home that actually fit your family.

  • Where we’d start

Teens going quiet is rarely rejection — more often it’s self-protection. We start by building enough trust that talking feels like their idea, and we keep you in the loop on what would help without breaking their confidence.

  • Where we’d start

School refusal is almost always anxiety wearing a different coat. We work out what the mornings are actually about, then build a return plan in steps small enough to succeed — with the school involved where that helps.

  • Where we’d start

Culture, language and family expectations shape how hard things feel and what help is even acceptable. Sessions run in English, Cantonese or Mandarin, and none of that context has to be explained from scratch.

What people say about working with our therapists

Rated 5.0 on Google — here’s what two clients wanted others to know.

★★★★★
“I’ve just completed my therapy journey with Alisa, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Since it was online therapy, I was able to create my own safe and comfortable environment, which made a huge difference. What I appreciated most was their perfect 50/50 balance of gentle, empathetic listening and rational guidance. Whenever I felt vulnerable, she provided a safe, non-judgmental space for me to lean on. Once I was ready for solutions, she seamlessly shifted to insightful, logical guidance, sharing effective coping mechanisms that worked for me. Through this journey, I’ve learned how to better navigate my thoughts and manage my emotions. To anyone considering therapy: healing ultimately relies on your own strength, but having Alisa walk alongside you makes the path feel so much safer and supported. If you are going through a dark valley in life right now, please know that you don’t have to carry it all alone. I wish you well on your own journey.”
